Locum Therapy Physicist

We are seeking a qualified Locum Medical Physicist to provide comprehensive clinical physics support for a radiation oncology department. Responsibilities include weekly, initial, and final chart checks; special physics consultations; machine quality assurance (QA); collaboration with radiation oncologists and dosimetrists; oversight of machine repairs and troubleshooting equipment issues; and other clinical medical physics duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible and capable of working independently in a clinical environment while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and quality.

Farrell, PA Start Date: October 1st Duration: 13 week assignment Pay Range: $200-220/hr (travel/accommodations reimbursed) Details: 5 days a week on-site in Farrell, PA This facility is accompanied by another physicist with one Varian Trubeam and one Varian iX Treatment planning system: Eclipse, RayStation, Pinnacle R&V systems: Aria, Mosaiq Patient load is approximately 35-40 patients per day Special procedures: SBRT.
