Role Description We are seeking a skilled LMS Developer for a full-time/par-time or contract remote opportunity. The LMS Developer will design, develop, and maintain our Learning Management System (LMS) including phone application to support our educational programs. The role involves creating user-friendly interfaces, customizing LMS functionality, integrating tools and resources, and ensuring system performance and security. What you will do include collaborating with educators to align the platform with course content, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing updates to enhance user experience. Qualifications
• Experience in LMS development, management, and customization, with a proficiency in platforms such as Moodle, Blackboard, or Canvas is a plus
• Proficiency in web development languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Knowledge of database management systems and server-side configurations
• Ability to integrate third-party tools and APIs with LMS platforms
• Problem-solving and debugging skills to address technical issues effectively
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educational teams and understand technical requirements
• Familiarity with educational technologies and e-learning best practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in the education or e-learning industry is a plus
