Role Description The Social Media Marketing Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across Roarke Regenerative’s social media channels. This role manages daily social media activities, including content scheduling, community engagement, and monitoring comments and messages to support audience growth and brand advocacy. The specialist will develop and implement social media campaigns that align with broader digital marketing and fundraising goals, working closely with internal stakeholders to highlight projects, impact stories, and partnership initiatives. Additional responsibilities include analyzing performance metrics, preparing regular reports, optimizing content based on insights, and staying current with platform trends and best practices. The role may also involve basic graphic design, copywriting, and collaboration with external partners to ensure consistent and mission-aligned messaging.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
• Candidates should possess skills in Digital Marketing and Marketing, including campaign planning, basic analytics, and audience segmentation.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences.
• Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar) and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express) is beneficial.
• Prior experience in nonprofit, environmental, sustainability, or impact-driven organizations is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines consistently.
• Relevant education or training in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred but not strictly required with equivalent experience.
• Base
salary:
$150,000–$165,000, commensurate with experience, plus a competitive annual performance bonus
• Sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates
