We are accredited by Microsoft, STEM.org, KHDA, and ACTVET. The Role We are hiring multiple part-time instructors to teach programming classes at our partner schools in Warren and Middlesex Counties. Classes run after school, between 2:00 and 5:00 PM, Tuesday through Thursday. Additional hours at our Lawrenceville center may be available. All teaching materials and curriculum are provided. You must be available for at least one of those afternoons. More availability means more classes and more hours. We are interviewing now and moving quickly. Requirements
• Strong working knowledge of Python or other programming languages
• Comfortable teaching students of varying ages and skill levels, including young children
• Available between 2:00 and 5:00 PM on at least one of Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday
• Currently living in Central or Northern New Jersey. We are not considering relocation candidates at this time
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle. This role is fully on-site at the schools
• Reliable, punctual, and responsive. Schools depend on us showing up
• Fingerprinting and Background Checks are required (reimbursed) Bonus If You Also Bring
• Scratch, Java, or block-based coding experience
• Robotics experience, especially competition coaching (FLL, VEX IQ, WRO, FTC, FRC)
• Prior teaching, tutoring, or after-school program experience
• Any other STEM subject matter expertise
