About the Role
Kyber Mortgage Corporation is seeking an experienced Disclosure Desk / Post-Closing Administrator to join our mortgage operations team in Northwest Austin. This is a dual-function position supporting both our Disclosure Desk and Post-Closing operations, with a strong emphasis on accurate and compliant mortgage disclosures. The successful candidate must have prior hands-on experience reviewing and/or generating residential mortgage disclosures and a working knowledge of federal and Texas mortgage disclosure requirements. This position is ideal for an experienced mortgage operations professional who is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with regulatory requirements, and capable of managing time-sensitive responsibilities across multiple loan files. This is a full-time, 100% in-office position in Northwest Austin and is not remote or hybrid.
Key Responsibilities
Disclosure Desk & Compliance Prepare, review, and issue initial mortgage disclosures and subsequent redisclosures in accordance with applicable regulatory and company requirements. Review Loan Estimates, Closing Disclosures, and related mortgage disclosures for accuracy and completeness. Review loan files and system data for consistency and identify discrepancies prior to disclosure. Monitor disclosure timing requirements and assist with the proper documentation and processing of changed circumstances and redisclosures. Review disclosure and compliance results for errors, warnings, missing information, or issues requiring correction or escalation. Apply working knowledge of RESPA, TILA, TRID, and applicable Texas-specific mortgage disclosure requirements in the performance of daily responsibilities. Coordinate with Loan Officers, Loan Officer Assistants, Processors, and other operations personnel to obtain information necessary to complete disclosures accurately and timely. Maintain complete and accurate records of disclosure activity within the loan origination system. Escalate potential compliance issues or exceptions to appropriate management. Post-Closing Administration Assist with the management of closed loan files from funding through investor purchase and final file completion. Track outstanding post-closing documents, trailing documents, investor conditions, and other required items. Assist with obtaining and organizing recorded documents, final title policies, assignments, and other trailing documentation. Coordinate with title companies, settlement agents, investors, warehouse banks, and internal staff regarding outstanding documentation and post-closing matters. Assist with clearing investor purchase and post-closing conditions. Maintain accurate loan status information and supporting documentation. Perform document uploads, file organization, tracking, reporting, and other post-closing administrative functions. Identify and escalate discrepancies, exceptions, or unresolved items as appropriate. Required Qualifications Minimum of one year of mortgage industry experience working on a compliance desk reviewing mortgage disclosures and/or on a disclosure desk preparing and issuing mortgage disclosures. Working knowledge of RESPA, TILA, and TRID disclosure requirements. Working knowledge of Texas-specific residential mortgage disclosure requirements. Experience reviewing and/or preparing Loan Estimates, Closing Disclosures, and related mortgage disclosure documents. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies or potential compliance issues within loan files. Strong organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple loans and regulatory deadlines simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working with loan origination systems, electronic documents, and web-based mortgage platforms. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and related Microsoft 365 applications. Ability to work independently within established procedures while recognizing matters that require escalation. Preferred Qualifications Experience with mortgage post-closing, investor conditions, trailing documents, warehouse lending, title documentation, or correspondent lending is preferred but not required. Experience working for an independent mortgage banker, mortgage broker, correspondent lender, or similar residential mortgage organization is also a plus. What We're Looking For Accuracy and follow-through are critical in this position. The successful candidate will understand that mortgage disclosures are both time-sensitive and compliance-sensitive and will be comfortable taking ownership of assigned files through completion. We are looking for someone who can bring existing disclosure knowledge to the position while expanding their experience into post-closing operations. This is an opportunity to develop a broader understanding of the mortgage lifecycle while working directly with an experienced operations team in a growing independent mortgage company.
