Role: Java / Spring boot / Anthropic Claude Developer

Location:
REMOTE (EST or CST TIME ZONE ONLY) Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and deploy robust microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies.
• AI Integration & Engineering: Embed AI-assisted capabilities into the platform using tools like Spring AI with direct integrations with Anthropic Claude (e.g., building RAG pipelines, text classification, and intelligent agents).
• AI-Driven Workflows: Harness Claude Code / MCP (Model Context Protocol) to optimize day-to-day engineering workflows, including automated test generation, code refactoring, and contextual debugging.
• Work with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement clean, efficient, and well-documented code while following best practices like TDD (Test-Driven Development) and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment).
• Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of applications by implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and QA analysts.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with peers.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues as they arise.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in microservices and cloud computing. Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience in software development with Java.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience developing microservices using Spring Boot.
• Anthropic Claude with certification
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs, asynchronous communication, and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Solid understanding of database systems, both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
