If you're ready to make a real impact and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment, this is your opportunity to lead at the edge of technological innovation Position Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To Provides technical guidance in designing, coding, testing, debugging, integrating, and maintaining high-performance computing systems. Manage or assist in managing complex IT projects, coordinating with various organizations for the planning, development, and implementation of new systems. Conduct needs analyses, consult with customers to define requirements, develop system specifications, and prepare business cases for IT solutions. Knowledge of computer science concepts and principles of standard computer science practices, methods, and techniques to perform, following specific instructions, routine projects or minor phases of a larger or more complex project. Knowledge of computer design, simulation or programming software or other appropriate software to perform routine design and analysis assignments. Ability to analyze, interpret and apply computer science procedures in a variety of situations and recommend effective solutions. Ability to research solutions and provide input on applicability and cost analysis to solutions. Attention to Detail

Required Qualifications Computer Engineer (0854): To meet eligibility of a Computer Engineer, applicants must meet the following basic requirements. Degree in Engineering. The program must have been ABET accredited. Computer Scientist (1550): To meet eligibility of a Computer Scientist, applicants must meet the following basic requirements. Bachelor's degree in computer science or bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus. All academic degrees and course work must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions. US Citizenship. Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance. Desired Qualifications Cybersecurity Certification: Many 1550/0854 positions fall under DoD 8140/8570 baseline requirements, meaning you may need a professional certification (such as Security+ CE, CISSP, or CISM) within 6 months of hire.
