We are seeking a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon with expertise in Craniofacial & Maxillofacial Surgery to join our team at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass.

Position Highlights
• Join an established, high-volume craniofacial and maxillofacial practice with a strong referral base and significant regional need for facial trauma and reconstructive care.
• Provide comprehensive care for adult patients with a clinical focus that includes craniofacial surgery, maxillofacial and facial trauma, complex facial fractures, orbital reconstruction, nasal and facial reconstruction, head and neck reconstruction, complex soft-tissue reconstruction, and skin cancer reconstruction.
• Treat complex tertiary cases at Baystate Medical Center while participating in a hub-and-spoke practice model that provides opportunities for community-based care across affiliated locations throughout Western Massachusetts.
• Build and expand your own referral base while developing a practice that can incorporate additional areas of clinical interest, including orthognathic surgery, breast reconstruction, general reconstruction, facial reanimation, and potentially gender-affirming facial surgery.
• Participate in the education and mentorship of UMass Chan Medical School-Baystate Plastic Surgery and General Surgery residents and medical students within a high-volume clinical environment. The practice is supported by four dedicated PAs.
• Collaborate with an experienced craniofacial surgeon and section chief while helping advance the growth and development of craniofacial and maxillofacial services throughout Western Massachusetts.

Qualifications:
ABMS BE or BC in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Candidates should have appropriate training and experience in craniofacial/maxillofacial surgery, facial trauma, and reconstruction. Candidates with plastic surgery training or an OMFS/DMD/DDS background with advanced training in maxillofacial/craniofacial surgery may be considered. Salary range: $400,000-$625,000 The compensation ranges in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full-time commitment for exempt employees.
