Job Title: UKG Kronos Consultant
Location:
Remote (USA) Duration: Long-Term Contract on W2 The consultant will lead client-facing UKG Pro WFM engagements from initial discovery and requirements gathering through configuration, testing, deployment, go-live, and post-production support. This role requires someone who can independently own functional or integration workstreams, provide strategic recommendations, and guide clients toward scalable UKG best-practice solutions. Lead end-to-end UKG Pro WFM implementations, from discovery and requirements analysis through configuration, testing, deployment, go-live, and post-production support. Conduct client-facing discovery and requirements-gathering sessions with business, functional, and technical stakeholders. Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable UKG Pro WFM configurations and solution designs. Configure UKG Pro WFM based on approved requirements, solution designs, and business processes. Possess deep hands-on expertise in at least one of the following areas: Timekeeping & Accruals / Absence Management Forecasting & Scheduling Boomi Integrations Lead or support functional and integration testing, defect resolution, deployment activities, go-live, and stabilization. Analyze complex business requirements and develop multiple solution approaches when appropriate. Recommend UKG best practices and provide guidance on configuration, solution design, and implementation decisions. Independently own assigned functional or integration workstreams and proactively manage deliverables through completion. Partner with client stakeholders, project managers, functional consultants, technical teams, and other implementation resources. Identify project risks, technical and functional dependencies, gaps, and potential implementation challenges, and recommend appropriate solutions. Provide hands-on troubleshooting and support during implementation and post-production phases. Participate in solution reviews and help ensure configurations align with business objectives, implementation standards, and long-term maintainability. Bring 8+ years of hands-on UKG Pro Workforce Management configuration experience. Demonstrate proven experience delivering full end-to-end UKG Pro WFM implementations. Have hands-on experience across the complete implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, go-live, and post-go-live support. Demonstrate deep expertise in at least one core UKG Pro WFM area: Timekeeping & Accruals / Absence Management, Forecasting & Scheduling, or Boomi Integrations. Possess strong client-facing consulting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Demonstrate the ability to provide strategic recommendations and best-practice guidance rather than functioning solely as a configuration resource. Demonstrate the ability to independently lead functional or integration workstreams and take ownership of project deliverables. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences. Must currently reside in North America. Previous experience implementing UKG Pro WFM within the retail industry, particularly large-scale retail environments, is preferred. Willingness and ability to travel occasionally based on client and project requirements is preferred.
