About the Role
The Sales Engineering team is made up of industry experts who partner directly with maintenance, reliability, and operations teams to help customers improve equipment reliability, increase uptime, and maximize ROI. Working alongside our Account Executives to engage Maintenance Managers, Reliability Engineers, Plant Leadership, and Operations teams, our Sales Engineers serve as trusted technical advisors, helping customers optimize maintenance and reliability strategies through Turbomechanica, our physics-informed AI platform for rotating equipment condition monitoring and predictive maintenance. By building strong relationships with industry leaders and helping enterprise customers understand the value of Mechademy's platform, our Sales Engineers drive successful evaluations, customer adoption, and measurable business outcomes. As an Inside Sales Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise and industrial experience to partner with Account Executives and the broader sales organization in helping power, LNG, refining, and pipeline operators modernize their maintenance strategies through Turbomechanica's condition monitoring and predictive diagnostics. You will engage with Maintenance Managers, Reliability Engineers, Plant Managers, and Operations Leaders to understand challenges, demonstrate Mechademy's solutions, and drive measurable improvements in uptime, reliability, and operational performance, with a particular focus on supporting the account executive and sales rep organization through RFPs, RFIs, and technical evaluations.

Responsibilities:
Technical Sales Partnership
• Partner with Account Executives and the sales rep organization as the technical expert throughout the sales cycle, engaging maintenance, reliability, and operations teams to understand customer challenges and requirements.
• Build credibility with frontline maintenance and reliability teams as well as executive stakeholders by leveraging real-world industrial experience and technical expertise.
• Support customer technical discussions across the sales cycle, from initial discovery through evaluation and handoff to Implementation. Discovery, Demonstrations & Evaluations
• Lead consultative discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and technical evaluations that showcase Turbomechanica's condition monitoring, vibration analysis, and predictive diagnostics for turbines, compressors, pumps, and engines.
• Translate technical insights into measurable business outcomes, including reduced downtime, improved asset performance, increased uptime, and ROI. RFPs, Proof of Concept & Pipeline
• Own and support RFPs, RFIs, and proof-of-concept engagements, coordinating with Product, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to ensure technically accurate, competitive responses.
• Utilize CRM tools to manage customer interactions, track sales activity, and provide visibility into pipeline progress Requirements Experience
• 3+ years of experience in sales engineering, preferably in asset monitoring, IoT, industrial reliability, or related technology sectors.
• Experience supporting or leading RFP/RFI responses in a B2B environment.
• Proven track record of supporting sales targets in a B2B environment. Technical & Communication Skills
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and explain complex condition monitoring and predictive maintenance solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Travel & Licensing
• Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and close sales.
• Valid US driver's license with a good standing record. Educational Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field Location
