Role Description The Forward Deployed Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Phoenix Area. This role involves working directly with clients to understand their technical and business requirements, designing and implementing software solutions, and integrating systems to address real-world challenges. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing back-end services, writing clean and efficient code, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance in production environments. The Forward Deployed Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, participates in code reviews, deploys updates, and provides technical guidance to ensure solutions are reliable, scalable, and aligned with client objectives. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and systems concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Software Development and Programming in one or more modern languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, or similar).
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and best practices.
• Ability to work directly with clients, gather requirements, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Comfort with debugging, testing, and performance optimization in production-like environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong communication skills, adaptability, and readiness to operate in fast-paced, onsite client settings.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, or containerization technologies is a plus.
