PMdigital.ai is looking for a System Administrator to support the Air Force Operational Medicine Information Systems (AFOMIS) Program Office and AFCENT Surgeon General (AFCENT/SG) on the Medical Expeditionary Systems (MEDXS) program. MEDXS provides full life-cycle IM/IT support for the Air Force Medical Service's operational medicine capabilities. That includes the MEDXS Web Portal, the medical Waiver Management System, analytics dashboards, and Theater Medical Information Program–Joint (TMIP-J) applications used by deployed medical forces at garrison and forward locations in the USCENTCOM AOR.
System Administrator (MEDXS)

Location:
Remote (CONUS), with travel to the AOR
• Clearance: Active Secret
• Travel: Regular travel to AFCENT OpMed sites and OCONUS locations, including recurring system upgrade trips
• Type: Full-time Position Summary The System Administrator keeps MEDXS software, the MEDXS Web Portal, and supporting servers secure, patched, licensed, and available. You'll support forward-deployed medical users around the clock.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, scan, report on, and administer MEDXS and AFOMIS OpMed IM/IT software.
• Administer the MEDXS Web Portal, its document libraries, web applications, and the Waiver Management System.
• Run audits, maintain transaction logs, and support system backup and recovery.
• Integrate and test patches and updates in a controlled environment, then document the results.
• Run quarterly security scans and monitor software licensing.
• Provide tiered helpdesk support that meets contract service levels. Tier 1 issues must be resolved within 4 hours, Tier 2 within 24 hours, and Tier 3 within 3 business days.
• Provide on-call support during critical outages, and deliver functional and system administration training at sites receiving software.
• Maintain the Cybersecurity Workforce certification and tracking required for privileged access. Required Qualifications
• 5 or more years of directly relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining Windows client-server applications, DoD standard server and workstation baseline images, and enterprise workflow and data analytics applications.
• Experience supporting military EHR and IT systems in an OCONUS environment.
• DCWF Work Role 451 (System Administrator), Intermediate proficiency per DoDM 8140.03.
• CompTIA Security+ CE.
• A relevant operating system certification (for example, Microsoft MCSA or Red Hat).
• OCONUS Readiness Requirements (below). Preferred Qualifications
• Linux administration experience.
• Experience with Veeam, Docker, ForgeRock, or Fortigate. OCONUS Readiness Requirements (Mandatory on Day 1)
• Active U.
S. Government Secret security clearance (T3). Clearance verification will be required.
• Valid U.
S. passport with at least 18 months of validity remaining.
• Proven experience managing personnel deployments, using the Synchronized Predeployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT), and handling host-nation theater clearance/DOCPER requirements across multiple OCONUS AORs.
