Triad Financial Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Loan Processing Manager to support the daily operations of the loan processing team while maintaining an active processing pipeline. This role serves as a working supervisor responsible for assisting with team leadership, workflow management, training, quality control, reporting, and administrative support while ensuring loans are processed efficiently from approval through clear-to-close. The Assistant Loan Processing Manager acts as a key resource for Loan Processors by helping manage pipeline performance, borrower communication, departmental reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This position ensures service level expectations are met while fostering strong relationships with borrowers, dealers, and internal business partners. Essential Functions
• Assist in the day-to-day supervision and support of the Loan Processing team.
• Monitor processor pipelines, workflow distribution, and departmental performance metrics.
• Provide training, coaching, and guidance to Loan Processors and support staff.
• Serve as a point of escalation for processing issues, borrower concerns, and operational challenges.
• Ensure departmental service standards, turn times, and quality expectations are consistently met.
• Assist upper management with process improvements, workflow enhancements, and special projects.
• Support staffing coverage during employee absences, vacations, and peak production periods.
• Maintain an active pipeline of mortgage loan files from approval through clear-to-close.
• Work directly with Loan Officers to process residential mortgage loan applications efficiently and accurately.
• Review borrower documentation to ensure underwriting conditions are satisfied.
• Submit complete and organized loan files for underwriting review.
• Coordinate appraisal, title, verification, and other third-party services required for loan approval.
• Ensure all required documentation is obtained prior to clear-to-close.
• Update fees, prepare re-disclosures, and maintain file compliance throughout the loan process.
• Monitor loan timelines and proactively address potential closing delays.
• Possess strong working knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, adjustable-rate, and fixed-rate mortgage products.
• Manage administrative responsibilities associated with loan production and processor support.
• Provide borrower outreach and assist with inbound call overflow.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide status updates when Loan Officers or Processors are unavailable.
• Track and report on expiring rate locks, rejected conditions, aging loans, and other pipeline management metrics.
• Compile meeting notes, action items, and follow-up activities for management.
• Assist Loan Officers with scheduling, reporting, and administrative requests.
• Generate and distribute recurring management reports related to loan production and processing performance.
• Utilize loan origination and communication systems to maintain accurate records and workflow management. Qualifications Education
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related field preferred. Experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years of mortgage loan processing experience.
• Previous leadership, mentoring, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred.
• Experience managing loan pipelines and meeting production deadlines.
• Strong understanding of mortgage lending processes, underwriting requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong knowledge of mortgage loan processing and lending procedures.
• Proficiency with Encompass Loan Origination System.
• Experience with phone and communication management systems.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
