• Opportunity for advancement Job Overview Maximal Security Services LLC is seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused Armed Security Officer to join our team in Houston, Texas. This is a part-time position working one day per week. This position is ideal for an experienced security professional who takes pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment while delivering exceptional service to our clients. Schedule
• One day per week (part-time)
• Assigned shift to be confirmed at hire Pay
• $20.00 per hour Responsibilities
• Maintain a professional and visible security presence throughout the assigned property.
• Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols to deter criminal activity and identify safety hazards.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Verify identification and control visitor access as required.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and suspicious activity.
• Complete accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs), incident reports, and other required documentation in the company app.
• Enforce client policies, site-specific post orders, and company procedures.
• Contact emergency services and company management when necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with employees, visitors, vendors, and the public.
• Maintain professional conduct and a clean, professional appearance, and represent the company with integrity at all times.
• Remain on post and be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Minimum Qualifications
• Valid Texas Level III Commissioned Security Officer license (armed), or ability to obtain one (Required)
• Authorized to work in the United States (Required)
• Reliable transportation (Required)
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Valid Driver's License preferred
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous armed or unarmed security experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional appearance and dependable attendance
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, if required by the client or applicable law Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in commercial, warehouse, industrial, residential, healthcare, or corporate security
• Strong observation, report-writing, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies Benefits
