Newton, MS / Onsite /2nd Shift ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES JOB SUMMARY
· Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the ladles and vessels, relining with multi-components the AOD vessels, bottom pour ladles, transfer ladles and the making of stopper rods, cleans the old linings out of the ladles with the use of a chipping gun and installs the appropriate lining, removes the burned bricks from the AOD vessel and re-bricks the vessel, positions and moves the ladles, vessels and refractory materials with an overhead crane. JOB EXPECTATIONS . Ensure work area is clean and free of any hazards
· Participate in all Safety, Health and Environmental programs
· Updating Refractory Application
· Ensure all ladles, ladle components and Vessels meet process & quality requirements
· Data collection and input
· Have a good work ethic and a good attendance record
· Maintain a positive attitude in the workplace at all times
· Participate in lean initiatives (6S, Visual Management, Kaizen)
· Perform other duties as directed by company QUALIFICATIONS

Working Environment – Indoors, extreme heat, noise 90+, possible air contaminants, possible mechanical/electrical hazards, and possible physical hazards.
