The Ginsburg Pathway Scholar is an experiential learning opportunity designed
for students in health science programs. Scholars will engage in health care
practice, community health initiatives, and professional development activities
in collaboration with Nemours Children’s Health and the Ginsburg Institute. This
role supports health efforts in Central Florida and prepares students for
advanced academic and professional pathways.
This position collaborates closely with assigned Nemours clinicians across
disciplines to support health care delivery in various hospital settings.
Essential functions and
requirements:
1. Attend team or project meetings. 2. Attend bi-weekly meetings with mentor(s). 3. Working with NCH clinical departments. 4. High School Diploma with Currently enrolled in a health science degree-seeking program at a local college 5. 6 months plus job related experience Nemours Children's Health is an internationally recognized pediatric health system serving more than 1.7 million patient encounters each year. We deliver care across six states through two freestanding children’s hospitals — Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware and Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida — along with a network of more than 80 primary, urgent, and specialty care practices and more than 40 hospital partnerships.
