This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, taking and preparing food orders, slicing, weighing, and portioning deli products, and maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. Requirements Essential Job Functions: Provides customers with premier customer service, taking orders, weighing, and portioning food items. Prepares, packages, and serves Deli products to customers for sale. Ability to operate the equipment as required by the department, (i.e., slicer, scale, can opener, wrapping machine, rotisserie, fryolator, case cutter, and stove/oven). Follows approved procedures for receiving, code dating, preparing, storing, and price marking, arranging and restocking products to ensure quality, accuracy, and product rotation and protection. Replenishes Deli products as needed. Monitors refrigeration equipment for proper performance regularly Adheres to all local, state, and federal health and civil code regulations. Maintains department sanitation and quality standards by cleaning and sanitizing all work surfaces, utensils, and equipment. Keeps floor clear of debris and spills. Must adhere to company uniform guidelines, including wearing long pants and closed-toed shoe. Minimum Skills and

Qualifications:
At least 18 years old Detailed oriented, attentive, and precise, able to work in a fast-paced environment Comfortable talking to people. Able to work well with others as a team. Reliable transportation Non-slip shoes are mandatory (please note that the company does not provide). Wear cutting gloves at all times when operating knives, slicers, or other sharp tools.
