Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Network Engineer with a strong networking foundation and CCNA-level knowledge to support a variety of network infrastructure projects within a large enterprise environment. This individual will work under the guidance of a senior CCIE-level engineer, assisting with network upgrades, switch deployments, and Meraki camera initiatives across multiple locations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise networking projects while expanding their technical skills alongside experienced network architects.
Responsibilities
- Perform Layer 2 access switch replacements and network hardware refreshes.
- Configure and deploy Cisco switches and perform basic router configurations.
- Support network upgrade projects, including planned cutovers and migrations.
- Assist with the deployment and support of Meraki camera infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and respond to outage-related support requests.
- Provide hands-on support for wireless access points when needed, escalating to senior engineers for advanced troubleshooting.
- Verify network connectivity following installations and upgrades.
- Work closely with a CCIE-level engineer on implementation activities and project execution.
- Document completed work and communicate project status to the team.
