Foot Patrol Security Officer – Waterfront Area
Pay Rate: $15.00/hourSchedule: 7 days a week | 7:00 PM–12:00 AMShift Length: 5 hoursExperience: No security experience requiredLicense: Valid Florida Class D Security License requiredLanguage: Spanish required
We are seeking dependable and professional Foot Patrol Security Officers for an evening outdoor patrol assignment near the James L. Knight Center / waterfront area. This position is ideal for someone entering the security field who already holds a valid Florida Class D Security License.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular foot patrols of the exterior premises
- Monitor the waterfront and surrounding outdoor areas
- Observe parking areas for unauthorized or improperly parked vehicles
- Watch for suspicious activity, safety concerns, or unauthorized access
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence
- Document and report incidents or unusual activity
- Be prepared to remain on your feet and patrol outdoors throughout the shift
- Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and the public
Requirements
- Valid Florida Class D Security License
- No prior security experience required
- Must be reliable, punctual, alert, and professional
- Must be comfortable working outdoors
- Must be capable of performing continuous foot patrols
- Must be available to work 7:00 PM–12:00 AM
This is a Full-Time position 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift, Weekends.
