As a Business Analyst, you will bridge business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex needs into clear requirements that support successful software design, development, testing, and implementation.

Business Analyst Responsibilities

  • Partner with business users, Product Owners, developers, and QA teams to deliver technology and program enhancements.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops and translate business needs into BRDs, functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Organize and prioritize user stories for Agile/Scrum development sprints.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and scripts; support UAT and defect resolution.
  • Create process flows, customer journey maps, workflow documentation, and business process models.
  • Conduct user research, experience mapping, wireframing, and usability testing.
  • Investigate system issues, administrative requests, and defect tickets while maintaining stakeholder alignment.
  • Ensure solutions align with strategic goals, regulatory requirements, and Public Service Commission expectations.

Business Analyst Qualifications

  • Proven Business Analyst experience supporting complex software systems and data products.
  • Strong experience documenting business requirements and translating them into technical requirements.
  • Hands-on Agile/Scrum experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar ticketing tools.
  • Experience developing UAT test plans, test cases, and scripts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Business Analyst Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating and analyzing Salesforce and/or Power BI reports.
  • Experience with wireframing, usability testing, and customer journey mapping.
  • Familiarity with clean energy, utilities, regulatory requirements, or public-service environments.
