Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Golang Developer with software engineering expertise to design, develop, and support cloud-native brokerage and trading platform applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in Golang, AWS, Kafka, Microservices, REST APIs, Kubernetes, and Java/Spring Boot, with a proven track record of building scalable, high-performance financial systems.
This role will focus on developing real-time trading and brokerage solutions, implementing event-driven architectures, integrating with financial systems, and driving cloud-native modernization initiatives across AWS environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native brokerage and trading platform applications using Golang and AWS.
  • Build and support Apache Flink streaming pipelines for real-time market data processing, transaction workflows, and business analytics.
  • Develop, deploy, and support microservices running on AWS EKS (Kubernetes) and AWS Lambda.
  • Design and implement secure, scalable RESTful APIs and integrations with internal and external trading systems.
  • Integrate with brokerage platforms supporting trading, settlements, market data, customer onboarding, and account management.
  • Develop event-driven architectures using Kafka and messaging technologies for real-time data processing and communication.
  • Implement cloud solutions using AWS Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, and EKS.
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions utilizing Terraform.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments via Kubernetes/EKS.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to define system architecture, API standards, and integration strategies.
  • Develop and support Java/Spring Boot services within a distributed microservices ecosystem.
  • Optimize application scalability, availability, performance, and cloud cost efficiency.
  • Implement observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and production troubleshooting.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, technical design discussions, and release planning.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices using Git-based workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and governance standards applicable to financial and brokerage platforms.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in Golang development.
  • Extensive experience with AWS Cloud Services, including EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and Step Functions.
  • Hands-on experience designing and developing Microservices Architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of REST API development and integration patterns.
  • Experience building event-driven applications using Kafka or equivalent messaging systems.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration platforms.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Experience supporting high-volume, distributed, cloud-native applications.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Git version control.
  • Experience developing backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, performance tuning, and debugging skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within Brokerage, Trading, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, or Financial Services environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Flink and stream-processing architectures.
  • Experience designing highly available, low-latency trading or transaction-processing systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architectures at enterprise scale.
