Home Time:
At our Jacksonville Terminal our drivers do a combination of local and regional work. Drivers can expect to average 2 nights on the road per week.  Bulkmatic provides hotel rooms and a per diem for overnight stays. Some weekend work is required.

Pay:
Drivers at the Jacksonville Terminal currently average between $85,000 - $95,000 per year.We are now offering a $3000 Bonus for new hires Ask our recruiters about the Weekly Safety Bonus that allows you to earn more money

We offer paid training on the pneumatic systems for all drivers.

About the Job:
Being a driver for Bulkmatic is a more physical job than driving for many other companies. Two-thirds of your time will be driving. The rest of the time will be loading, unloading using the pneumatic systems and interacting with customers. We have extensive training on our safety procedures and the pneumatic equipment. No Pneumatic Experience Required.

 

  • Be at least 23 years old
  • Must possess a valid Class A CDL with at least 1-year Tractor Trailer driving experience.
    • Driving Experience should be within the past 10 years; within the past 5 years is preferred.
  • Be physically and mentally qualified to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid medical certificate as defined by the FMCSA
  • Must not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under the rules and regulations set forth by the FMCSA
  • Meet all the requirements and be able to perform all of the tasks and essential duties of the job description
  • You must have a valid CDL Class A license in the State that you reside in or in cases of recent relocation the ability to change license within 30 days.
  • Must have a clean or acceptable driving record
  • Ability or operate/inspect equipment safely
