SZ-007 - UI, Back End, or Full Stack Developer (SWE 1)

Seeking a UI, Back End, or Full Stack Developer (Software Developer Level 1) to support the development, enhancement, integration, and sustainment of Intelligence Community geolocation applications in a classified environment. The role involves developing enterprise Java applications, building service-oriented and microservice solutions, integrating containerized applications, supporting DevOps initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, test, debug, and maintain Enterprise Java applications.
- Design and implement service-oriented architecture (SOA) and microservice-based solutions.
- Integrate and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop Python scripts to support automation and tooling.
- Perform software integration, testing, deployment, and Tier 2/Tier 3 support.
- Analyze requirements, create user stories, and participate in Agile Scrum activities.
- Track requirements and development tasks using JIRA and Confluence.
- Develop and support applications within a Linux environment.
- Collaborate with software and systems engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience in DoD or Intelligence Community environments.
- Experience with Enterprise Java application development.
- Experience developing service-oriented architecture (SOA) and microservices.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
- Experience with Python development.
- Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, or equivalent databases.
- Experience developing in a Linux environment.
- Experience using Atlassian tools, including JIRA and Confluence.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum and DevOps methodologies.
- UI/front-end development experience preferred.
- Experience supporting IC geolocation or ISR products preferred.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps environments preferred.
