Springfield, TN
- Unit Name: MS2 & MS3
- Shift: 7:00 PM
- 7:00 AM
- Number of Beds: 27 on each floor
- Patient Ratios: 5:1
- Staffing Support:
- Unit secretaries available during dayshift
- Techs on all shifts
- Equipment & Technology:
- Computer on Wheels
- Pyxis
- Welch Allen vital sign machines
- Documentation System: Meditech Expanse
- Scheduling
Requirements:
- 3 days a week with every other weekend
- Floating Policy:
- Will float between MS2 and MS3
- Patient Experience
Requirements:
- Skill Set:
- Must Have: Basic Med/Surg experience, especially with post-op orthopedic patients
- Advanced Skills Needed: NA
- Common Procedures on Unit:
- Blood transfusions
- IV and central line maintenance
- Certifications Required:
- BLS
- ACLS preferred but not required
- Dress Code: Dark blue uniform
