The Expertise You Have:

3+ years of professional experience developing publicly available Android apps using Kotlin
Experience working in a team, actively engaging in code reviews, pull requests, and pair programming
Experience mentoring and coaching other Android developers in a collaborative and team-based organization

The Skills You Bring:

Your knowledge of the mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies used in creating performant, resilient, and robust Android apps
Deep understanding of Clean Architecture with either MVP or MVVM
- Experience building multi-module Android apps is a big plus
Comfortable with computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms to ensure adherence to software engineering best practices including object-oriented and functional programming
Strong understanding of modern development principles such as trunk-based development, feature toggles, etc.
Understands the benefits of Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
Good understanding of Android Jetpack as well as open-source libraries like Retrofit, and Kotlin to build modern, stable, resilient, and future-ready apps. Experience with Coroutines and Jetpack Compose is a plus
Good understanding of Android’s Accessibility features and experience building accessible experiences
