We are scaling our operations in NYC to better service a growing portfolio of local organizers, hospitality groups, and brands. As we expand our footprint across nightlife destinations throughout NYC, we are building up our internal team with ambitious promoters to help drive new business, provide outstanding service, and represent our brand, fully leveraging our venue relationships, brand recognition, and platform authority. What You'll Do

• Active Digital Promotion & Content Creation: Consistently create visual content and market featured agency parties, venue listings, and nightlife experiences across your personal social channels to drive direct sales and build audience reach.

• Street Team & Field Outreach: Actively engage as a field promoter across NYC nightlife districts, dining hubs, and high-traffic social spots—proactively identifying and connecting with partygoers, tourists, and VIP clientele both offline and online.

• Network & Pipeline Development: Tap into and convert your personal, corporate, collegiate, and tourism networks into active VIP guests and repeating clients.

• Client Relationship Management: Deliver high-touch, professional service to high-value clients, event planners, and group organizers through prompt communication and customized recommendations.

• Logistical Coordination & Booking Management: Coordinate client booking details, guestlist entries, and table reservations directly with venue managers and door hosts to ensure seamless entry.

• On-Site VIP Hosting & Representation: Host assigned venue bookings in person during peak nights, maintaining luxury hospitality standards, composure, and venue-appropriate attire while welcoming VIP clients.

• On-Site Content Documentation: Capture high-quality photo and video content of on-site engagements, guest interactions, and venue atmosphere to support ongoing agency marketing initiatives.

• Brand Partnerships & Activations: Represent Always The VIP in sponsored activations and brand partnership deals, executing targeted promotional campaigns and guest outreach in the field and online.

• Brand Safety & Compliance: Maintain a professional and inclusive environment, adhering to venue dress codes, safety protocols, strict punctuality standards, and local NYC laws during all assignments.

What You Bring

• Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age to enter partner nightlife establishments and perform on-site hosting duties.

• Hospitality, Nightlife & Brand Activation Background: 2+ years of hands-on experience specifically in hospitality, nightlife promotions, brand activations, or event marketing.

• NYC Market Familiarity: Strong understanding of NYC’s top nightlife hubs, venue door policies, dress codes, and VIP hospitality standards, fully aligned with NYC luxury nightlife aesthetics.

• Personal & Professional Network: An active, accessible network built through past professional roles, corporate circles, collegiate peers, tourism, or personal social groups.

• Established Digital Reach & Content Creation: At least one active, public social media profile with 5,000+ engaged followers, paired with hands-on skill in creating visual social content (e.g., image posts, video Reels, TikToks).

• Professionalism & Self-Drive: Highly charismatic, reliable, and self-motivated with the discipline to work autonomously, deliver high-touch service, and maintain poise and discretion in high-volume VIP environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• NYC-Based Residency: Located in or with convenient access to the New York City metropolitan area.

• Tech-Savvy Operations: Comfortable utilizing digital tracking tools, Discord, messaging apps, social platforms, spreadsheets, and photo/video editors for outreach, sales tracking, and performance reporting.

• Enthusiastic On-Site Presence: A desire to greet VIP clients in person on peak nights and network within the venue—elevating the client experience, building connections, and positioning yourself for direct gratuities and paid hosting assignments.

• Club/Party Promotion Background: Prior experience promoting clubs or parties with an existing client base ready to be tapped into.

Compensation & Revenue Structure

This role is structured as an Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity, giving you full control over your schedule and strategy with our support. We provide promotional assets, gig-work, and systems to record and track your sales for accurate payout reconciliation. You can leverage up to five distinct earning streams:

1. VIP Bottle Service Commissions (Uncapped): Earn top-tier, performance-based payouts on high-value VIP bottle service and table reservations.

2. Guestlist & Door Admissions Commissions: Earn commissions on guestlist placements and door admissions generated through your network.

3. Event Ticket Sales Commissions: Earn payouts on event and party tickets sold via your dedicated referral links and tracking systems.

4. VIP Concierge Host Deliverables: Earn $80–$100 flat fees per completed on-site VIP hosting assignment.

5. Guided Nightlife Experiences: Earn $150–$250 flat fees per completed assignment hosting large parties, corporate groups, and curated multi-venue itineraries.

Payout Schedule: Compensation payouts are processed following event settlement and revenue reconciliation, with specific payment terms detailed in individual contractor agreements.

• Pay Transparency Notice: Pursuant to the NYC Pay Transparency Law (Local Law 32), the compensation rates and ranges stated above represent Always The VIP's good-faith estimate of compensation for services at the time of posting. Total earnings are variable and performance-based, depending on individual client volume, venue spend, and assignment completion.

• Independent Contractor Status: This position is an Independent Contractor (1099) engagement. It does not constitute an offer of employment, nor does it create an employer-employee relationship, partnership, or joint venture. Contractors maintain complete autonomy over their work hours, methods, and strategies. Formal engagement is contingent upon the execution of a written Independent Contractor Agreement in compliance with applicable laws, including the NYC Freelance Isn't Free Act (FIFA) and NY State Freelance Isn't Free Act.

• Tax Compliance & Reporting: As an independent contractor, you are solely responsible for calculating and paying all applicable federal, state, and local income and self-employment taxes. Prior to receiving payouts, contractors must complete and submit a valid IRS Form W-9 (including a valid US Social Security Number or Employer Identification Number). Always The VIP will issue an IRS Form 1099-NEC at the end of the tax year for earnings meeting or exceeding applicable federal reporting thresholds ($2,000+).
