If you're a skilled diesel technician with a passion for fixing earthmoving equipment, this is your opportunity to build a lasting career with a trusted Caterpillar® dealership. 🛠️ What You’ll Do as a Caterpillar Heavy Equipment Mechanic: As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you'll inspect, service, diagnose, and repair Cat diesel-powered equipment and construction machinery, including: Set-up, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance Component replacement (hydraulics, fuel systems, transmissions, undercarriage, electrical, etc.) Shop Service: Work with mentor technicians in a fully equipped shop Field Service: Operate from a company-provided service truck, servicing customers at their job sites Maintain high-quality standards and follow all safety procedures ✔️ Position

Requirements:
Must own tools required to perform heavy equipment repairs High school diploma or equivalent Strong mechanical understanding of diesel engines, electrical, and hydraulic systems Hands-on experience with transmissions, track systems, components, and fuel systems Previous experience with Caterpillar or competitive earthmoving equipment brands Proficient in technical diagnostics and able to use Cat ET (Electronic Technician) or similar systems ⭐ Strongly Preferred: Welding and fabrication

experience:
