Scope of Work:
Review and document engineering and technical requirements for fuel valves and actuators.
Collaborate with supply chain to review exiting and new suppliers.
Interface with suppliers to evaluate existing solutions.
Perform a gap assessment.
Asses mechanical integration efforts for supplied solutions.
Identify viable component solutions for a variety of applications.
Work with team members to evaluate control strategies and viability of supplied solutions.
Lead stakeholder discussion on component supplier down select.
Minimum Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
General knowledge of turbomachinery and fuel system operation.
Experience working with suppliers, writing technical specifications, and evaluating supplier engineering technical & quality capabilities.
Candidate should be capable of working effectively under their own initiative as well as part of a team. The candidate should be able to document and communicate ideas clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
Practical experience working on Gas Turbines or Fuel/Energy delivery systems.
Experience integrating mechanical or hydro-mechanical components into system design.
Controls systems and/or RSLogix experience.
Experience working on an Agile team and with Agile Engineering processes.
Practical experience working on Gas Turbines or Fuel/Energy delivery systems.
