Summary
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to The Delta Breeze Event Center, Travis Air Force Base, CA.
Physical Effort: Ability to frequently lift objects weighing 5 to 15 pounds, pull and push objects weighing 10 to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift up to and over 40 pounds.
Eligible to use base facilities such as: Base Exchange (BX), Gym, Outdoor Rec, Library, Marina, Golf Course, Bowling Center, and the Arts & Crafts Center.
- Carries supplies and equipment, such as liquors, fruits, ice, glasses, linens and silverware from storage areas to the bar.
- Slices and peels fruit. Fills ice bins and crushes ice.
- Washes and cleans bar glasses, bar equipment and keeps the work area clean and neat.
- Replaces empty beer kegs with full kegs with the aid of a dolly; stocks beer coolers.
- Wipes down the interior and exterior surfaces of coolers.
- Helps in setting up service bars and portable bars.
- Carries debris to waste containers.
- May serve bottle beer, soft drinks and draw beer from kegs.

Conditions of employment
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination to ensure the level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
- Must meet state and legal age (21) requirement for sale of alcoholic beverages by the closing date of this announcement.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
No previous training or experience is required. Ability to follow simple oral instructions, and be able to use knives and automatic slicers to prepare garnishes.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
