Job Description:
· We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to support the assessment of acquired business sites and remediation of gaps to ensure infrastructure, technology, and related processes align with Client's security standards.
· This role will coordinate activities across security, technology, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure assessments progress, findings are documented, remediation activities are tracked, and stakeholders remain aligned.
· The Project Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining momentum across multiple workstreams by tracking actions, identifying gaps and dependencies, driving follow-up, and ensuring owners are accountable for agreed-upon activities.
· The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in an ambiguous and evolving environment, and able to bring structure and discipline to complex cross-functional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate assessment and remediation activities across acquired business sites.
· Manage cross-functional activities involving technical, security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
· Develop and maintain project plans, action trackers, remediation logs, schedules, and status reporting.
· Track assessment activities, findings, decisions, dependencies, risks, and remediation actions through completion.
· Establish clear owners and target dates for actions and consistently follow up to drive accountability.
· Coordinate discovery activities required to understand current-state security compliance at acquired locations.
· Identify missing information, unresolved questions, gaps, and dependencies that could prevent assessments or remediation activities from progressing.
· Schedule and facilitate working sessions, stakeholder discussions, and project status meetings.
· Document decisions, action items, owners, and next steps and ensure timely follow-through.
· Work with technical teams and subject-matter experts to understand remediation requirements and translate them into trackable activities.
· Maintain visibility into progress across multiple sites and workstreams and proactively escalate risks, blockers, overdue actions, or decisions requiring leadership attention.
· Prepare concise project status updates highlighting progress, upcoming activities, risks, decisions, and areas requiring attention.
· Help establish consistent processes and documentation for assessment and remediation efforts across acquired businesses.
Required Qualifications
· 2 year’s work experience coordinating cross-functional projects or initiatives.
· Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
· Proven ability to manage multiple activities, stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
· Experience maintaining project plans, action logs, RAID logs, schedules, or other project management documentation.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to facilitate meetings and translate discussions into clear decisions, actions, owners, and next steps.
· Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Proficiency with common project management and collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience supporting cybersecurity, information security, infrastructure, technology, risk, compliance, or remediation programs.
· Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or acquired business environments.
· Familiarity with security assessments, compliance requirements, risk remediation, or technology discovery activities.
The successful candidate will be someone who:
· Creates structure from ambiguity and determines what needs to happen next.
· Owns the follow-through, not just the meeting or tracker.
· Drives accountability while building positive working relationships.
· Notices what is missing and asks the questions needed to keep discovery moving.
· Connects the dots across teams, activities, dependencies, and decisions.
· Communicates clearly and concisely, particularly when highlighting risks or escalating blockers.
· Stays ahead of the work rather than waiting for stakeholders to identify next steps.
