Network & Security Administrator

Overview
Seeking a Senior SME to support Operations, Project, and Architect requirements for Datacenter & Cloud, working collaboratively within a team.

Must-Have Hands-On Skills

• Solid fundamentals and deep understanding of IPv4 Core Networks (TCP/IP), with experience in Datacenter and Cloud Network.

• Cisco Layer 3/Layer 2 Network Switching & VLAN (Nexus, Catalyst & ACI) – Datacenter Network.

• Static & Dynamic Routing (BGP, EIGRP) and Network Access/Policy controls.

• Network Architecture Design for Solution Delivery and building Network Diagrams.

• Network Segment & IP Address Management.

• Experience and good knowledge in Cisco SDN/ACI/Leaf & Spine Design & Architecture.

• Palo Alto Network Firewalls – Initial Build, Security Policy/Zone/NAT Configuration, Software OS Version Upgrade, Hardware Refresh, Troubleshooting, Solution Delivery/NAT, License Renewal, Site-to-Site VPN tunnel Setup & Troubleshooting; implementing Security/NAT policies for Palo Alto Networks (Firewall, Wildfire, URL filtering, etc.).

• Palo Alto Global Protect VPN (Remote Access VPN) – Initial Build and Troubleshooting.

• Web Application Firewalls (Cloud WAF) – End-to-End Support, Design, Build, Solution, Troubleshooting and Maintenance (Imperva WAF preferred, added advantage).

• DDoS Prevention Setup (Imperva Incapsula preferred).

• Extensive Network Problem Analysis & Troubleshooting using TCPDUMP, Wireshark, Splunk.

• End Point Network Access Control (NAC) (ForeScout preferred) – End-to-End Support, Design, Build, Solution, Troubleshooting and Maintenance (Policy Management, OS Upgrade, HW Refresh, License Renewals).

• Cloud Proxy (Netskope preferred) – good understanding and hands-on.

• Network & DNS Load Balancer (F5 LTM and F5 GTM) – End-to-End Support, Design, Build, Solution, Troubleshooting and Maintenance (OS Upgrade, HW Refresh, License Renewals).

• Proficient in executing diagnostic techniques with NetScout Traffic Analyzing Tool.

• Proficiency with Packet Broker Switches (IXIA/Gigamon) to capture Live Traffic.

• Experience working with Datacenter Cabling team – Racking/Un-racking, Datacenter Standards, TAP usage, Power Supply placement, Optimal Rack usage.

• Sound Level-3/Level-4 problem determination and source identification skills across network technologies; experience handling Priority Issues in Live Calls.

• Up to date on latest computing/technology trends and security practices.

• Expertise in applying ITIL methodology; understands best practices for Operation support, automation, and technology management.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Hands-on exposure to Cisco ACI, RSA, Cloud Technology Azure & Google Cloud.
