We are currently seeking qualified candidates to join our team for the following position:
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience: At least 2 years
Languages: Must be fluent in English
Skills: Forklift Certified in the past 3 years, some Hazmat Knowledge preferred
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Operate a handheld scanner, scan cargo into container from tally sheet and load guide
• Take pictures as cargo is loaded into container for complete verification
• Block and brace cargo throughout your load and make sure it is all secured when completed.
• Stage finished product for loading
• Operate forklift (gas or electric) to load containers and flatbeds
• Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out.
• Operate within standard operating procedures.
• Operate forklift,
• Complete daily logs.
• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on forklift
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
• Other duties as assigned
• Must complete inspections daily prior to operation on any equipment you are operating
