What is the "Future Builders" program?

Lennar's Future Builders Program is designed for highly motivated early career professionals seeking to launch their careers. Participants will develop essential interpersonal and technical skills while working alongside seasoned professionals in a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.

Through structured onboarding, hands-on training, and professional development, Future Builders will contribute to impactful projects and gain deep exposure to key areas across Lennar. High-performing participants may have the opportunity to transition into full-time roles upon program completion.

The Technology track is a one-year, developmental program for recent graduates that prepares participants for careers in core business operations. The start date for the program will be June 2027.


Job Responsibilities: Future Builder - Cloud Engineer

  • Collaborate with engineering leaders to understand functional and non-functional requirements
  • Promote collaborative team environment and work with engineering leads to achieve business objectives
  • Adhere to architecture, design, implementation, and security standards and best practices
  • Prepare technical documentation and manuals
  • Work on feature enhancements, bug fixes, and technical debt
  • Write high-quality, testable code meeting customer needs
  • Develop reusable software building blocks for faster delivery
  • Implement unit and integration tests and conduct functional and performance testing
  • Participate in code reviews and incorporate senior engineer feedback
  • Stay current with new technologies and programming trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or related field
  • Knowledge of semantic HTML and modern CSS
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and core development principles
  • Experience with JavaScript UI libraries (React, Vue, or similar)
  • Understanding of web server architecture and HTTP communication
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, BitBucket, or similar)
  • Ability to learn and work effectively with new technologies and tools
  • Current senior or recent graduate between May 2026 and May 2027.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Curious, proactive, and comfortable asking questions to learn and grow.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to engage in real business discussions.
  • Positive, adaptable mindset with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

Upon program completion, the Company will decide whether to offer high-performing RCGs a regular full-time position within similar roles under these verticals, based on factors such as job performance and business needs. It is important to note that placement in the Company post-program is not guaranteed.
