About the Role:
Badlands Distribution Inc is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Representative to join our growing team in Fargo, ND In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our financial operations running smoothly while working in a fast-paced distribution environment. Responsibilities:
  • Process and post incoming payments, including checks, ACH, and credit card transactions
  • Generate and distribute accurate customer invoices in a timely manner
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances and past-due accounts
  • Communicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to address account-related inquiries
  • Assist with month-end closing processes and AR reporting
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related accounting role
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping
  • Excellent communication skills for professional customer and vendor interactions
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Experience in distribution, wholesale, or logistics industry is a plus
