Job Title: Design Engineer 3
Location: 14009 Old Galena Rd. Bldg E, Chillicothe, Illinois 61523
Notes:
- Light structures design control for several products in Decatur
- Tractor scraper product line – all fabricated systems, hoods, guards and enclosures
- Bolted assemblies and nonmetallic components design
- Design engineer supports the factory located here onsite, suppliers and on field
- Resolving designing issues, improving them
- Proficient with modeling tools like Creo
- Create concepts and designs and solve problems
- Lead design reviews - Support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process.
- Creo or other 3-D design tools
- Previous experience designing welded steel structures
Education:
- Engineering degree
- Associates will except if candidate has 7– 8 years of experience
