Your Role as a Home Health Occupational Therapist: In this fulfilling position, you will: Provide occupational therapy to patients struggling with daily tasks due to illness or injury. Collaborate with a dedicated home health team, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, PTs, and SLPs, to focus on patient care and personal goals. Assess patients, observe deficits, set therapy goals, and document progress. Assist patients with exercises to enhance fine motor skills and coordination. Recommend adaptive equipment to improve safety and support. Evaluate fall risks and implement strategies to enhance home safety. Educate patients and families on care plans, exercises, and self-care techniques. Supervise and guide Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants. What We’re Looking For: To thrive in this role, you should have: A degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program and an active OT license in Colorado. A minimum of one year of occupational therapy experience in home healthcare. Current CPR Certification (demonstration course required). The ability to pass a background check and drug test (THC testing required). Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations.
