Overview: Were pleased to offer a sign-on bonus for this role Pay: Up to $34.00/hour Children's Dental Health is seeking a passionate Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our close-knit team in providing top-notch dental care to our patients. As an EFDA, you'll have the chance to showcase your expanded skills and knowledge, assisting our dentist in a variety of procedures, including restorations, extractions, and root canals. You'll take and develop dental X-rays, manage patient records, and provide education on oral hygiene and post-operative care. And, of course, you'll do it all with a friendly and empathetic approach that makes our patients feel at ease. We want you to bring your passion, skills, and drive to help patients achieve beautiful smiles and better health while creating wow experiences at every visit Schedule: Monday & Thursday Plymouth Meeting: 7:45 AM 5:00 PM Tuesday & Wednesday Warrington: 7:45 AM 5:00 PM Note: The Warrington location is expected to transition to full-time in the future. Location: 2210 Shetland Drive Warrington, Pennsylvania 18976 920 Germantown Pike Suite 112 Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania 19462 Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures Perform expanded functions, including restorations, extractions, and root canals Take and develop dental X-rays Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care Provide excellent customer service and patient care Qualifications: Current licensure as an EFDA Demonstrated desire to work in a pediatric setting Radiology certification What We Offer We believe that taking care of our employees and their families is paramount.
