IT Applications Engineer V, Mobile (iOS & Android) Atlanta, GA, or Greenwood Village, CO (Remote / Hybrid 1 day/week onsite) Full-time, Permanent Technical Skills: Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java, MVVM, XCUITest, Espresso, Fastlane, Firebase, AEM, REST APIs, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Mobile Security Client is seeking an experienced IT Applications Engineer V specializing in native mobile development for iOS and Android platforms. This role will lead the design, development, and optimization of mobile applications that serve millions of Healthcare members. You will play a critical technical leadership role in architecting scalable, secure, and user-focused mobile solutions while collaborating with cross?functional teams in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain native iOS and Android applications using Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, and Java. Apply clean architecture principles (e.g., MVVM) to ensure maintainable and scalable codebases. Implement automated UI testing using XCUITest (iOS) and Espresso (Android); integrate into CI/CD pipelines. Manage mobile app build and signing workflows, including provisioning profiles, certificates, entitlements, flavors, and schemes. Integrate and manage third?party SDKs (Firebase, analytics, maps, etc.). Consume and optimize RESTful APIs, ensuring robust error handling, caching, and performance. Collaborate closely with UX, product management, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences. Integrate content from Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar CMS platforms into mobile applications. Stay abreast of industry trends and platform updates to keep apps modern and compliant. Serve as a technical mentor and SME, influencing architecture decisions and best practices. Ensure adherence to mobile security standards and KP compliance policies. Minimum Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum Experience 6+ years overall experience in software/mobile development. 4+ years programming experience in Objective?C or Swift (iOS). 3+ years experience in Android development (Kotlin/Java). 3+ years experience with mobile app build and signing workflows. 2+ years experience with automated testing using XCUITest and Espresso. 3+ years integrating third?party libraries or SDKs. 3+ years integrating APIs and services. 2+ years working with CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). 2+ years experience in a technical leadership or architectural guidance role. Preferred Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Fastlane, Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, and mobile app security practices. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps environments. Soft Skills Strong communication and collaboration skills. Analytical mindset with strong problem?solving abilities.
