The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of both Windows and Linux system infrastructures. This role involves a blend of network management, consistent system patching, robust system hardening, and system/software deployment automation. Essential Functions Administer and support daily operations of Windows and Linux servers, ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and availability. Manage network configurations to optimize performance and ensure security compliance. Implement regular system updates and patches, minimizing vulnerabilities and maintaining compliance with industry standards. Harden systems by configuring and maintaining security measures to protect sensitive data and infrastructure. Develop and maintain scripts and tools for deployment automation, striving for increased efficiency in our operational processes. Collaborate with engineering teams to understand program requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions. Communicate complex technical issues and strategies to management and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Must be willing to submit to a CI polygraph. Qualifications Bachelors Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. 4 years of experience as a System/Network Administrator managing an enterprise level domain. Current/active TS/SCI security clearance. Preferred Additional Skills Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking protocols, PowerShell, and security best practices. Two years of experience supporting LINUX (RedHat REL 7/8, Centos, Ubuntu). Experience with VMware or similar virtualization software. Experience with Ansible. Experience with Commvault or similar backup system software. Experience managing systems under the NIST Risk Management Framework.
