This positions primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate day-to-day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems; build applications, interface between applications, and understand data security, retention, and recovery. The role holder should be able to research technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions and should contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; contribute expertise on significant application components, programming languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guide/mentor the team during the build and test phases. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. Candidate can be located within commuting distance of specified locations in Raleigh / Charlotte, NC. This position may require relocation and/or travel to project locations. Experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Spring Security, REST, SOAP, backend design patterns. Experience in Terraform, AWS Services (S3, SQS, SNS, Cognito, EC2, RDS, DMS) Experience in Databases (Aurora MySQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, SQL Server) Experience in Agile/Scrum, DevOps CI/CD pipeline. Preferred Qualifications At least 5 years of experience in Agile/Scrum, Java Spring Boot, AWS, Terraform At least 5 years of experience in software development life cycle At least 5 years of experience in project life cycle activities on development and maintenance/Production Support projects. At least 2 years of experience in design patterns and architecture. Strong communication and analytical skills Ability to work in a team in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
