We are seeking a Retail Associate to provide exceptional customer service, maintain a clean and organized store, and support our team in delivering an outstanding shopping experience. General Purpose The Retail Associate ensures customers have a positive shopping experience by greeting them, maintaining merchandise presentation, and performing a range of tasks throughout the store as required. Essential Functions Prioritize safety by practicing safe behaviors and reporting unsafe conditions. Maintain awareness of the sales floor to create a safe and secure environment, keep egress clear, and report any unsafe practices. Greet and assist customers at all points, including the register, with friendliness and professionalism. Respond promptly to customer service calls and resolve issues courteously. Represent and support the company brand at all times. Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping counters and mirrors, replenishing restroom supplies, and disinfecting high?touch areas. Adhere to the company dress code and maintain a professional appearance. Carry out daily sizing and recovery tasks to keep the store neat, clean, and organized. Expedite newly received merchandise to the sales floor, merchandising per company best practices and monthly presentation guidelines. Understand loss?prevention procedures, shortage highway, and merchandise protection standards. Safeguard confidential information, cash, credit card data, and merchandise. Follow all mark?out?of?stock policies and cash handling procedures with accuracy. Demonstrate urgency and maximize productivity by executing best practices and minimizing workflow steps. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail. Physical Requirements / ADA Use all store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PC. Stand, walk, and move throughout the store up to 100% of working time. Bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop regularly. Occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 pounds. Use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies. Specific assignments may require additional qualifications and skills. Stockroom shifts: push, pull, and lift more than 20 pounds.
