Job Description and Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers. Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups. Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses. May assist in network emulation/virtualization, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software. Configuring and maintaining Windows Servers. Configuring and maintaining VMware environment with vXRails. Provide support to customers to accomplish their mission. Basic Requirements A mid-level has 3 or more years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description and a BA/BS degree in a relevant subject or discipline for the position. Windows Server Administration and ACAS. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree. Substitutions include Associates Degree plus 2 years additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. High school diploma or GED and/or a relevant technical certification plus 4 years additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. Certifications Windows, Sec+(8570) Preferred Skills and Experience Network Administration, VxRails Administration experience, or VMware Administration. Security Clearance Top Secret (must be a US Citizen) Telework and Travel On site 100%. < 5% travel. Contract This position is supporting an active, funded contract.
