Job Title: Financial Planning Systems Administrator- Oracle Hyperion Location & Type: Remote (minimal travel may be required; travel expenses covered by the client) Contract Job Summary: The Financial Planning Systems Administrator will support the utilization and administration of the organizations budget and forecasting systems, as well as related databases. This role is responsible for developing reports and performing financial analysis to evaluate assumptions, identify trends, assess risks, and uncover opportunities. The ideal candidate will leverage knowledge of organizational operations and business processes to deliver actionable insights in support of management and internal customers. Education and Experience: Required: B.S. in Accounting or Finance (M.S. preferred) Minimum of five (5) years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting Technical experience with decision support systems and/or budget/forecasting systems Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting applications and systems Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem?solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Preferred: Experience as a systems administrator or systems analyst Three (3) years of experience in a hospital or healthcare?related business setting Technical Skills: Oracle Hyperion System 9 or EPM 11 Platform Oracle Hyperion Planning (including Workforce Planning, PBCS, or EPBCS) Oracle Hyperion Essbase Oracle Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting Oracle Hyperion SmartView Key Responsibilities: Forecasting and Reporting: Support quarterly forecasting, monthly/annual reporting, and related Oracle modules and visualization tools Perform updates, data reconciliations, validations, data loads, and metadata management Analyze and assess reasonableness of forecast assumptions and monthly/annual reporting data Develop or assist in developing reports and analyses to identify significant trends, risks, and opportunities System Administration: Perform functional system administration duties in conjunction with the System Administrator Support application and database utilization, including modifying calculation rules, allocation scripts, and load rules Maintain system security and controls to ensure data integrity Update forms, task lists, and related configurations under guidance from incumbent administrator Communicate impacts of system upgrades/updates to finance team members and end-users Provide end?user support for functionality, processes, and troubleshooting Management Support and Financial Counseling: Facilitate and prepare management reporting and analysis using financial management concepts and knowledge of business processes Provide education to end?users on reporting and analysis resources Develop strong understanding of business systems affecting financial reporting applications (e.g., Soarian, Lawson G/L, Kronos payroll) Serve as a Financial Counselor to operational departments by analyzing financial information, including productivity metrics Provide support and guidance for the quarterly forecast process Skills and Competencies: Ability to think independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and respond quickly to change Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity To Apply for this Job Click Here Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Gravity IT Resources is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
