We are seeking a talented Front-End Architect to join our dynamic team and help us build robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications. In this position, you will work across our cloud products and our legacy platform to architect our portals using micro-front ends to ensure a seamless integration between the legacy and cloud as well as the experience for the user. Youll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. and, for hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, a requirement to work in the office a minimum of four days per week. Primary Responsibilities Architect scalable front-end solutions using micro-frontends Lead front-end strategy across legacy and cloud platforms Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align tech and business goals Own, manage, and maintain the Design Pattern Library and UI Toolkit Drive quality, automation, and efficiency in development workflows Evaluate and integrate new tools, frameworks, and technologies Mentor developers and provide technical leadership Define and uphold front-end coding standards and best practices Ensure performance, accessibility, and responsiveness of applications Conduct code reviews and enforce code quality Stay current with emerging trends and apply innovative solutions Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience in a front-end architecture role Experience working with Angular, React, .NET, and Azure Experience with the Stranger Fig pattern and micro frontends Experience with RESTful APIs, web services and microservices architecture Experience leveraging AI tools in the software development lifecycle to improve quality and efficiency Understanding and application of Domain-Driven Design and Event-Driven Architecture Understanding of SOLID architectural principles Solid understanding of web markup including HTML5, CSS3 Deep understanding of integration technologies, middleware, and protocols Proficient in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks U.S. citizenship Preferred Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field or 6+ years of experience Experience with other front-end frameworks and libraries Knowledge of cloud-based architecture and microservices Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and teamwork abilities Conditions This position will support Optum Serve's performance of a United States government contract and will require the successful applicant to access and process Non Critical Sensitive information. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and complete required security clearances. Benefits and Compensation Pay ranges from $110,200 to $188,800 annually. Benefits include a comprehensive package, equity stock purchase, 401(k) contribution, incentive and recognition programs, and additional benefits subject to eligibility.
