Foodservice Department Porter At Memorial, we are dedicated to improving the health, well-being and, most of all, quality of life for the people entrusted to our care. Cleans and maintains all areas of the Foodservice Department according to safety, sanitation and infection control standards. Complies with internal policies and procedures, as well as, regulatory requirements regarding kitchen safety and sanitation. May transport carts, deliver meal trays, or pick up meal trays from assigned areas. Regularly collects and disposes of all food related and recyclable waste/trash. Performs warewashing duties per safety guidelines. Can include but is not limited to: dishmachine and three compartment pot sink. Cleans and maintains carts and kitchen equipment, using proper techniques and cleaning solutions. Accountability, Customer Service, Hand Hygiene, Kitchen Sanitation - Porter/Cashier, Patient and Family Centered Care, Responding to Change, Standards of Behavior No Degree or any other education earned (Required) Complexity of Work: Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: No experience required.
