The team operates within the agencys Information Technology Infrastructure Operations Department (ITIOD). The role is a part of the Digital Transformation Team providing engineering solutions in support of the PBGC ITIOD. This position is hybrid with 3 days onsite per week at customer site in Washington DC. This role requires onsite work in Washington, D.C. at least 3 days per week with remote work the other days. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and deployment of predictive models and machine learning algorithms Architect and optimize SQL Server databases and SSIS ETL pipelines for performance and scalability Develop and oversee Power BI dashboards, ensuring alignment with business KPIs Manage secure data access and compliance using Active Directory roles and policies Mentor junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence Collaborate with cross?functional teams to translate business needs into data?driven strategies Establish best practices for data governance, quality assurance, and model lifecycle management Communicate insights through compelling visualizations and executive?ready storytelling Qualifications Must have a bachelors degree and 5 years of experience in data science, analytics, or business intelligence Prefer technical lead or team lead experience Deep expertise in SQL Server, SSIS, and Power BI Strong understanding of Active Directory for role?based access control Architect and optimize SQL Server databases and SSIS ETL pipelines for performance and scalability Ability to architect end?to?end data solutions and guide technical direction for complex data schemas Experience with Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric for cloud?based data orchestration Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and executive presentations Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science or related field Nice to Have Familiarity with Azure Synapse, Databricks or Delta Lake Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Data Scientist Associate, Power BI) Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data workflowsProficiency in Python for statistical modeling and machine learning Clearance Requirement Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Public Trust Clearance We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Profit sharing distributed twice a year 15 days of paid time off and 10 paid holidays per year 401(k) with employer matching Health and dental benefits Opportunity to work with other talented technical professionals SharePointXperts is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
