The Senior Network Engineer will take on a leadership role in designing and implementing cutting-edge enterprise networks while providing crucial support to our networking practice. This is a client-facing role where the person would play both a pre-/post-sales role while performing as a technology professional. This position requires an individual who is highly motivated, is a self-starter, and is team focused. The right individual has an in-depth knowledge of technical solutions and how they are deployed, is client-focused, and has excellent communication and presentation skills. Responsibilities: Lead technical discussions to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications such as the creation of Statements of Work (SOW) and Bill of Materials (BOM) for clients. Design, implement and transition firewalls, switches, access points, and other network solutions to meet the needs of customers. Troubleshoots LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, routing, switching, VPN, firewall, and VoIP equipment, including a broad range of devices (Predominantly Fortinet). Develop and maintain technical deliverables including network assessments, capacity planning, detailed design documents, implementation/test plans configuration templates and scripts. Engage in peer review sessions to aid fellow engineers in optimizing the quality of their deliverables. Perform root cause analysis of critical outage and incidents. Maintain up-to-date industry certifications.
