We are based in Bellevue, Western Australia and seek an experienced QA Documents Officer for immediate start. QA Documents Officer The role of QA Documents Officer is responsible for preparation of prequalification documents including but not limited to Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), weld procedures and procedure qualification records, and other documents as required for completion of client MDRs. Management of material certificates and in?progress compilation of MDRs for submission of QA documentation to clients. Recording of any non?conformances (NCRs) and completion of investigation and submission to clients as required. Comprehensive knowledge of welding processes, non?destructive testing (NDT) techniques, and quality assurance principles. This is a permanent and full?time position. Key Responsibilities Preparation of as?built drawings and recording of heat numbers for pipes and flanges. Verify dimensions based on provided drawings and collaborate with client QC for accuracy. Prepare pre?qualification documents for projects (ITP, WPS, WPQR and Welder Qualifications). Adhere to Quality Procedures in all duties. Prepare NDT Requests and liaise with NDT provider and technicians. Monitor compliance progress continuously. Ensure all welders are current and arrange re?qualification with external inspector as required. Prepare and review MDR with client. Qualifications and Skills Required Minimum of two years experience in QA in a fabrication setting. Basic knowledge of welding processes and quality control practices. Strong problem?solving and decision?making skills. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in client engagement. Meticulous attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure. Prior exposure to fabrication workshops. Familiarity with Australian standards concerning structural steel, piping, and welding. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, including projections and welding symbols. Background in Quality Assurance, checking procedures and MDR preparation. Good computer skills, including maintenance management systems, word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
