Overview Shift Leader position at Wright Brothers. The role focuses on leading shifts, ensuring quality service and food safety, and supporting a positive team environment. Responsibilities Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, championing guest experience and operational excellence. Manage the performance of both FOH & BOH employees. Promote a fun, positive work environment and uphold company standards. Provide initial and ongoing training to all employees using the company LMS and training methods. Reward and recognize employee performance that exceeds company standards. Oversee daily operational checklists (line checks, uniform standards, opening/closing tasks, safe and deposit logs). Monitor guest experience metrics (NPS and OSAT) and ensure compliance with FSC standards daily. Ensure food safety standards are followed and compliant with local health departments. Demonstrate and communicate service standards to employees on each shift. Onboard and train new employees; manage onboarding processes. Assist with COGS management for food ordering and inventory; follow cash policies to minimize losses. Manage daily labor and scheduling according to business needs. Qualifications Previous Shift Leader experience. 90-day completion of train-the-trainer course. Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to follow uniform standards and company policies; comply with local, state, and federal employment regulations. Successfully complete the Smashburger training program. Strong written and verbal communication skills; effective with restaurant management, frontline employees, and corporate support teams. People management skills to coach, develop, motivate, and lead restaurant teams. Excellent attention to detail and strong time management, consistency, and organizational skills. High motivation, self-direction, and results-driven attitude. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move items up to 50 lbs; ability to work in high temperatures.
