Our mission is to deliver an exceptional shopping experience by recommending the perfect products and providing unparalleled service. $17-$20 an hour Hiring full time and part time employees This position requires physically reporting to work in San Luis Obispo, CA. Purpose of Position We are looking for reliable and personable individuals to help us build lasting relationships with our Tennis Warehouse and Running Warehouse customers in our retail storefront located in San Luis Obispo, California. Join our team of hard-working associates committed to maintaining our high standards of service. Duties And Responsibilities Build a foundation for lasting relationships with new customers and foster ongoing relationships with existing customers in the retail store and at associated events. Maintain store inventory and presentation via stocking, merchandising, and cleaning. Perform basic racquet preparation and maintenance, including stringing and other racquet services. Customer Service: Greet customers and offer warm hospitality; provide thorough assistance in a friendly, professional, knowledgeable manner; maintain knowledge of company policies, products and services; meet and exceed customer expectations; maintain store inventory and appearance; be flexible during busy times; maintain a safe and clean work environment; continuously learn and develop skills; communicate with other departments; participate in training clinics and provide product feedback as needed. Requirements One weekend shift is required. Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred. Passion and knowledge for Tennis, Pickleball or Running preferred. Stringing experience a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; able to learn new software. Strong communication, teamwork, and professional conduct. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks; detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment. Physically able to work in a retail environment. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no direct supervisory duties. Work Environment This role functions within a typical retail environment with frequent face-to-face interactions, using tablets, computers, cash registers/credit card machines, and phones. Racquet stringing machines and related tools may be required. Physical Demands As described, including standing, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, stringing racquets, and repetitive use of hands and wrists. #J-18808-Ljbffr
